Physical Education & Health
All students are required to have the equivalent of three semesters of Physical Education to meet graduation requirements. All students are required to have one semester of Health Education to meet graduation requirements.  For more information on these offerings, please the Courses page.

The Physical Education staff encourages each student to sample a variety of course offerings, or pick a discipline and become the best you can be for your life-long wellness.

The following courses will fulfill the physical education/health graduation requirement:
  • Dance
  • Weight Training
  • Swimming
  • Physical Activity Programs
  • Personal Fitness
  • Health
SHHS has many Physical Activity Programs offered throughout the year.

Personal Fitness (Grades 10-12)

SHHS also offers Academic Programs.  Those courses include:
  • Care & Prevention of Sports Injury/Sports Medicine
  • Independent Studies
  • Outcome-Based Program
