Make-A-Wish Week 2015

SHHS News - 2/3/15

Last week, students at Smoky Hill High School upheld a five-year tradition of granting the wishes of deserving children through their efforts with the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Over the course of the last five months, inspired by this year's Wish Kid, Laurel, the Smoky Hill community raised over $25,000 to grant not only Laurel's wish to go to Disney World, but also the wishes of as many as five more kids.

Many groups around Smoky joined together to make it happen. Here is a list of how all the groups made it happen:

  • Homecoming Movie Night - $561
  • Homecoming Buff Puff Volleyball - $1,596 * Homecoming
