Seniors, Application deadlines continue to loom.  Below is the deadline schedule for requesting your transcripts and letters to be sent to your colleges.  These are hard deadlines, so you will need to make sure your teachers have uploaded their letters of recommendation to Naviance. If you don't meet the deadline, there is NO guarantee your transcript and letters will be sent on time.

Must turn in transcript request by:

December 1November 16
December 15December 1
December 31/January 1December 1
January 15January 5

Check out the net price calculators on college websites.  The calculators are mandated by federal law to be on every college website.  This gives families an opportunity to see what the out of pocket cost will be to attend that college.

Now is the time to start your scholarship research.  Check out the list of scholarship opportunities on Naviance.  Also, explore the national scholarship databases: and are two that we recommend.  Don't forget to check with your individual colleges for their list of institutional scholarships.

2015-2016 SHHS College Fairs

Denver Spring College FairMarch 13, 2016Univeristy of Denver1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Please note that these fairs are automated, which means that many of the college representatives will have scanners.  Students who register here can print out a bar code they can bring with them to the fair, which colleges can scan, rather than filling out information cards at each table.  If students will be attending more than one automated fair this fall, they only need to register once and can select multiple fairs. College reps will still have information cards available for students who don't bring a bar code.
