Spring season begins Monday, February 27th.

Turn in completed packet and $90 fee to the
Athletic Office between January 31st and February 23rd.
Turn in $90 fee to the Athletics Office.
Athletes cannot practice, tryout or compete until a completed check-in packet (including proof of a current physical) is processed by the Athletic Office.
All packets must be hand delivered to the Athletic Office, do not mail  or drop off check-in packet.
Completed packets that are turned in by noon will be cleared for practice the same day.

Cheer Leading
The Smoky Hill Varsity Cheers will travel to Orlando, Florida, February 9-14 to wrap up their competition season at the National High School Cheerleading Championships. Preparation for the 2012-13 season will begin immediately following their return.
SHHS students and incoming freshman are welcomed to try-out for the cheerleading team during the week of April 16th
Students interested in trying out are encouraged to attend pre-tryout clinics, which will take place every Tuesday and Thursday beginning Tuesday, February 21st, and ending Thursday, April 12th. Tuesday clinics will focus on jumps and tumbling skills while Thursday sessions will emphasize stunting and motion technique. The cost is $5 per session, or $50 for all 14 sessions.
 A parent meeting will take place Monday, March 12 at 7p.m. to provide more information about the Smoky Hill Cheerleading program and tryout process. Go Buffs!
Girls Golf
Looking to get involved in a spring activity?  Want to be in an activity that lasts a lifetime? Want to participate in an activity that can be used to network and foster future business and pleasure relationships?  Girls golf season begins at the end of February.  Play the game that some of the best known athletes in the world play. Be outside in beautiful Colorado playing nice golf courses.  Get help with your game or learn it for the first time.  See the Activities Office or Mr. Alwin for more information.
