So far this fall we have had over 100 college visits.  Please keep checking your Naviance account for dates and times of future college visits.
If you have not done so already, you should be thinking about completing your college applications.  There are several application deadlines coming up, and this is a very busy time in Post Grad.  Remember, during this busy time, you will need to give Post Grad 10 days to process your transcript requests.
Below are some links that will help you with this process.

Check out the net price calculators on college websites.  Net price calculators are mandated by federal law to be on every college website.  This gives each family an opportunity to see what the out of pocket cost of attending that college will be.

This is also a good time to start checking on scholarships on Naviance.  The list is comprehensive, and offers links to websites and applications.  This list is updated weekly so be sure and check often.

Now is a good time to begin preparing for standardized tests.  Method Test Prep is an online course that helps students improve their SAT and ACT scores as well as builds their math, reading and writing skills. Log onto Naviance and click on the Method Test Prep on the left side of the home page.  Log in or if you have not used it before you will need to sign in.  Students can listen to math, verbal and writing tutorials and each tutorial is accompanied by a quiz to test student mastery.  The program is highly adaptive and keeps track of a student’s strengths and weaknesses.  Students have access to a large pool of practice questions and receive instant feedback upon completion of each question.  This feedback includes easy-to-understand explanations.  Method Test Prep is a good fit for any type of student.  The website can be accessed at any time of day or night most convenient to the student.  Method Test Prep is designed to be used independently or as a supplement to other SAT or ACT prep.
