Spring Craft Fair Applications
Applications for the Spring Craft Fair, held on March 8, 2014 will be available on November 9, 2013.  Email shhsptco@gmail.com if you would like one.
 
PTCO Meetings
The PTCO Meeting scheduled for December has been cancelled.  Stay tuned for the January meeting-if you have signed up to receive emails through PTO Manager, you will receive an email blast about the next meeting.
 
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
  • Need a Representative for Cherry Creek Legislative Network.  The next 3 meetings are in February, March, and May.
  • Need someone to shadow the Treasurer this school year to take over for the 2014-15 S.Y.
  • Need someone to shadow the Spirit Wear Coordinator, to take over for the 2014-15 S.Y. 
  • Would like a Corporate Donations Chair for next year to solicit corporate donations and write grants.
  • Need someone responsible for the Cartridges for Kids Fundraiser (ink, toner, etc.).  The website is www.cfktoday.com Email Jennifer Melton @ jbmelton@comcast.net
  • Need someone to help with spring craft fair advertising.
  • In appreciation for everything the staff does at Smoky, PTCO is hosting "Sweets for Smoky" on Wednesday, December 11th. We are looking for any type of dessert/snack donation such as cookies, bars, brownies, cupcakes, chex mix, fruit, crackers, cheese, pretzels, trail mix etc....You can drop off your donation in the main office anytime Tuesday, December 10th or before 9 am on Wednesday, December 11th.
 
 
SHHS Prom Dress Sale
Are you looking for more room in your closet?  We can help you out!  SHHS is collecting dresses for our SHHS 2014 Prom Dress Sale.  You may drop your dresses off at Smoky Hill High School or Biondi Jewelers, 15755 E. Briarwood Circle, Aurora, CO 80016.  Call Becky at 303-386-5091 with any questions.

Fundraising  opportunities include:
  • Office Depot: mention Smoky Hill High School at the time of purchase, and Office Depot will donate a percentage of the sales to our school.
  • Target Cards: Target will donate a percentage of each purchase to our school through the "Take Charge of Education Program".  Visit target.com/tcoe or call 800.316.6142 to designate Smoky Hill to receive funds.  Use Smoky Hill's ID Number, 1037196.
  • Ink Cartridges: If you are interested in recycling old ink cartridges, you may drop them off in the "Drop Box" in the main office.  SHHS PTCO will receive a donation for each one.
  • Serenity Nails Discount: Serenity Nails, located at 6202 S Parker Rd Ste 300 (south of Orchard - close to It's All Peachy and Dazbog Coffee) will give students a 10% discount on any service when they present their school student ID and will donate another 10% to SHHS PTCO. No expiration date.

Spirit Wear

The PTCO is selling spirit wear!  Great for holiday gifts/stocking stuffers. The 2013-2014 spirit wear is available in the school store, StarBuffs, on green days, both lunches. Come check out the sweats, light weight quarter zips, hoodies, t-shirts, and baseball t's. Also available this year are lanyards and water bottles. We accept cash or checks.
