IB Exams

May 2014 IB Exams are underway.  Please check the Smoky Hill IB page for the exam schedule and for rules and regulations regarding exam administration.  Some form of photo identification (school ID or driver's license) is required for admission into each exam.  Students are reminded to eat healthy, drink plenty of water and to get a good night's sleep so they may do their best on their examinations.

Exam results will be available on July 6th at noon MST via the IBO website:  Students were given instructions (including a PIN and a personal code) on how to access their exam scores at this site.

IB Senior Recognition Ceremony

Our IB Diploma Candidates will be honored at our annual IB Senior Recognition Ceremony on Monday, May 19th , at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium.  Superintendent Harry Bull and other Cherry Creek School dignitaries, will be in attendance.  All 9th, 10th and 11th grade IB students are required to attend this ceremony.  Seniors will be given their gold IB stoles they will wear at graduation.  In addition, our photographer Jack Eberhard will take their final class portrait.  Please join us in this wonderful celebration of academic achievement!

Extended Essay Workshop

A research-oriented workshop will be held at Smoky Hill High School June 4th and 5th from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.   The camp is optional, but highly recommended.   Content area experts will be available each day to assist students with researching their topic.  Students will leave the camp with an outline from which to write their essay during the summer.

Important:  Students will not receive their schedules at check-in without a completed rough draft (title page, abstract, table of contents, body of paper, works cited/reference list.)
