2024 Mill & Bond - Investing in Excellence

Thanks to the support of our community, the Cherry Creek School District can continue to deliver excellence for our students, staff, and community.

The overwhelming support for the 2024 Mill and Bond helps to ensure high-quality teachers, innovation and in-demand career training, and safe, healthy schools for all students. The 2024 Bond is funding capital construction improvements across the district, with many of the projects underway. 

As the Laredo Middle School rebuild takes place in close proximity to Cherokee Trail, the information below highlights the project details.

Rebuilding and Modernizing Laredo Middle School

Laredo Middle School is the second oldest middle school in the Cherry Creek School District. Originally constructed in 1974, the current building has aged out of its useful life in terms of meeting the programmatic and student needs of today. The new school will have a larger footprint to support today’s educational needs, including specialized programs, brighter, flexible, and innovative learning spaces, and improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety around the school.
